Margaret River, W.A.
This comes from estate and grower fruit. It packs a lot of value and class into a bottle, and seems to have done so over past vintages. What a good fella vigneron Ed Tomlinson is too.
Shapely, firm in tannin, succulent in feel too. It’s got lots of cassis and dark berry fruits, touches of black olive and bay leaf. It’s a complete package, the real deal, done superbly and feels undeniably classy, if not a touch generous. It’s a very good wine right here.
